By accessing or using Apiary Network, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
User Accounts
Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information
- You are responsible for maintaining account security
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
Beekeeper Accounts
- Beekeepers must have appropriate training and equipment
- You are responsible for safe swarm removal practices
- You must maintain required licenses and insurance
Swarm Reporting
When reporting a swarm:
- Provide accurate location and contact information
- Upload clear, relevant photos only
- Do not interfere with or disturb the swarm
- You grant us the right to share your info with beekeepers
Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, or inaccurate information
- Harass, threaten, or harm other users
- Use the platform for commercial spam or solicitation
- Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the platform
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Scrape or harvest user data without permission
Content and Intellectual Property
- You retain ownership of content you post (photos, comments, etc.)
- You grant us a license to use, display, and distribute your content
- The Apiary Network platform and branding are our property
- Respect copyright and intellectual property rights of others
Disclaimer of Warranties
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee the accuracy of swarm reports, the availability of beekeepers, or successful swarm rescues. Bee removal involves inherent risks.
Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for injuries, property damage, or losses arising from swarm removals or interactions between users. Beekeepers operate independently and are responsible for their own actions and safety.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in harmful behavior, or for any reason at our discretion.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of [Your State/Jurisdiction].
